Cultural safety in a global society will discuss an increasing area of complexity within the health and education context. Working with the cultural differences now requires the health care professional to develop theoretical and practice-based knowledge to meet the needs of more complex populations receiving care. This special issue will add to the growing body of knowledge by providing guidance to educators, students, and providers of healthcare on how to build on the lessons learned with Indigenous peoples.
